Dominance & Contrast

In these two photos where there's repetition without variation, there's also a dominance of contrasting elements.

Repetition & Variation & Rhythm

In these two, there's rhythm created by the repetition of a group of elements. For these examples, repetition without variation creates rhytym, yet it's not necessarily monotonous as there's
variation within the groups.

Focusing on windows, there's also a rhythm, created by repetition of differentiated
elements but not groups.

Here, there's also a rhythm but created with variation of a single element and usage of
background as an another element.

Repetition & Variation

Unfortunately, variation is barely used in metu buildings, so I'm limited with these two. Repetition of the varying elements is clearly seen in the windows.

Varying directions of the same, repeating elements can be seen here.
